Human Name: Catherine Blair.
The last name Blair was a suggestion from brachio30 and it is an English-language name of Scottish origin. The name means "battlefield" which could be a metaphor for Falklands' history (a reference to the Falklands' War).
Nickname[s]: Kate, Katie, Falkie, Malvi.
The nickname Malvi is used by some spanish speaking countries that support Argentina's claim on the islands.
Age Appearance: 15
Gender: Female
Birthday: June 14th (Liberation day; since 1982). 
Another option could be January 3rd (British reoccupation; since 1833).

Her hair is blonde to resemble France and Britain's original settlements when she was born.

The colour green is a reference to England and the Shape is a slight hint of Argentina's influence.

The whole "everything is tiny" thing about her resembles her small territory and population.
►Special atributes: The tiny freckles around her face, hands and shoulders are a reference to the Scottish and Welsh heritage.

Personality: 

   Falklands is a young teenager with a delicate and gentle attitude yet a fierce conviction of her ideals. She isn't a very outstanding person in the international context, so she remains shy and kind to foreigners. She may seem innocent and reserved at first, but as soon as she feels confident she is more talkative, open minded and can get too attached to those friends she considers close.

Britain's influence on her is very strong, so from time to time she displays some traits that are similar to him. She is stubborn, intelligent, quite grumpy and fond of music and literature. Falklands feels isolated in her place, because her South American neighbours support Argentina; she feels insecure when talking to them. However, she still really enjoys the company of others, as long as there are no hostile arguments. If she seems distant and aloof, it's only because of her shyness.

Sensitive and easily hurt, she tends to victimize herself often and hold rancors for very long periods of time. She doesn't forgive easily. Due to her wealthy condition compared to other South Americans, Falklands may display some kind of arrogance or sense of being superior to them. It's not very noticeable, but more like an inner thought.

She is distant and bitter whenever she feels uncomfortable with people (specially Argentina). On the other side, she's playful and affectionate with her family, but refrains herself of making very intimate physical contact ( a simple hug is enough for her). She is economically self-sufficent but relies heavily on the British brothers for protection.

>Why did you make only one character and not two (for the two main islands)?
   She was orignally going to have a brunette sister to represent West Falkland, but she ended up being one character to represent the whole archipelago. I considered it was unnecessary to have two characters to represent a sttlement of barely less than 3000 habitants. There aren't enough major differences to need two characters.

>Why is she female?
  To me, my oc's genders are a matter of personal interpretation. The name Malvinas in Spanish is a female name, and I've always considered the islands to be represented by a femenine character. There's not greater science than that; it's just my opinion.

>Why is she a teenager and not an adult?
   It is a reference to the fact that she is a British overseas territory, hence not a fully independent nation. Also, because her territory and her community is quite small.

>Any pets?
   She has a sheep named Charles and a female penguin named Diana.

>Do you agree the Falklands are british? Aren't you Argentinian?
   No, I don't agree. My opinion about it is quite complex but I don't want to mix it with my character. I don't necessarily have to agree with what my oc says/claims. I try to be objective and portray her as a representative of her population, not my own views.
