Well this started as a random sketch, but I liked the pose and gave it more detail. I was not planning to draw this at all 
I originally imagined that this is how Tina would react when she saw Spain during/after the independence wars.
I didn't give extensive research to this concept, but I think Spain would come back to America to defend his last remaining territory, Perú. This might be possibly after 1816 but before 1822, more or less. I'm sorry if there is any inaccuracy please don't slay me i am not a professional historian this was just a random drawing.
What I wanted to portray in the original sketch was Agustina's rage and resentment when she saw Spain after being left alone for so many years. Of course, Spain had a lot of problems in his own continent but I don't think Río de la Plata took consideration about that specific detail.
Just imagine coming back to America after a long time and finding one of your many children, one your overlooked children, grown up and ready to attack you. I wanted to give Spain a surprised but angry expression because he was not expecting this and he surely doesn't like it. that's why he isn't attacking; he just saw her, and she suddenly went to attack him, personally; he's in a defensive position. Despite the background, they aren't meant to be in a specific battle (I just added the bg to make it more dramatic). It's just he and she.
Of course she wasn't going to kill him, but Agustina has NO CHILL and she probably wanted to beat him up, at least. Did she succeed? We will never know.
