My views on Falklands/Malvinas origins by FlopyLopez My views on Falklands/Malvinas origins by FlopyLopez
FUCK I MADE A TYPO
ARGENTINA DIDN'T SEND A GOVERNOR IN 1929 IT WAS IN 1829 SDFLKJSDLFKJSDF

:rose: Right now I can't write everything I want to explain and clarify, because I have to go to granny's house and I won't be here until tomorrow. Before you say something harsh and want to question something, keep that in mind.

I know Falklands' history is still very debated and controversial, it's hard to have a very exact version so i checked A LOT of sources (which I will give later). So please don't start a debate or whatever. I honestly don't care.

MAÑANA LO TRADUZCO AL ESPAÑOL HOY NO TENGO TIEMPO PLS NO ENTREN EN PÁNICO MAÑANA EXPLICO ALGUNAS COSAS(lo digo para que no me anden comentando "qué dice???")

This took me like 3 days and I drew everything including the backgrounds so I hope you like it uvu and I'm sorry if Britain's and France's clothes are not accurate, I couldn't find any good reference.

May I ask if you wrote all of this info in your own words? Someone sent me something to review and it is super similar to this. I was just wondering if they stole it from you ahahha

Yes, I wrote this by myself, I think I didn't copy/paste any part information.
Could I possibly see who made a similar text? wow

lifelessq was the one who submitted it. This is the text they gave me.

Personality: Falkland is a shy, gentle girl. She is soft-spoken and caring, but is often a worry-wart. She loves to read and often carries a book around. She grew up on a sheep farm, raising sheep… She is self consious around others. When she feels uncomfortable around someone, she tends to be distant and rarely bitter.
History: Falkland Islands was born around 250 years ago, the first human settlements on the islands took place in 1764, when France built Port Louis on Eastern Falklands.
About a year after that, Great Britain built Port Egmont and on Western Falklands and claimed it territory to the British Crown.
In her younger years, Falkland was taken care of both France and Great Britain. Due to the distances between the two ports, France and Britain where oblivious to each others activity.
Of course, their settlements weren’t all smooth sailing, in 1766, Spain expelled France and Britain and renamed Port Louis, Puerto Soledad.
This was followed by a diplomatic crisis between Spain and Great Britain, but then was resolved when Spain let Britain back to his port in 1771.  Shortly after that he left, but still didn’t give up on his right to the islands, so he left a plaque.(Which apparently, Spain shipped to  Buenos Aires)
The islands was under Spain’s domain and administration of what years later would be The Viceroyalty of River Plate (Argentina)
There weren’t any significant events, so she was young for quiet a while.
When United Provences of River Plate (Argentina) fought for their independence, they assumed Falklands’ territory would be naturally inherited, but Britain still hadn’t given up on his claim.
In 1926, United Provences sent a governor. In 1833, Britain came back to reassert authority over the place, ever since, Falkland has been under Britains’ control(except for a short occasion in 1982)

In fact, the only thing I could find different to it was that the human age was 16 and the name was Christian Blair rather than Catherine Blair...
The appearence description was exactly the same as how you showed her sheep farmer clothing in her bio.

I was pretty sure it wasn't you who submitted it, but if it was please say...

Geez, I've been blatantly plagiarized. Thank you for telling me!
They even used some parts of my description about her personality, written here (but changed some words): fav.me/d7r3n9t . They didn't even bother to change the last name.
Also, they've only copied the part that I've written, but they didn't make any research about the Falklands War (a very major event in Falklands' history) or anything else.

Has this person submitted to you, but you haven't publised it? because I couldn't find any post saying anything about any Falklands character in that link you gave me.

This makes me so mad, I always have a hard time writing and putting effort into my characters' descriptions! Additionally, it's even harder for me because English is not my first language. This kind of people are the ones that discourage me a lot, damn it.

Could you do me a favour, if possible? I don't know if you have a hetalia oc reviewer blog or what, but please post their description and point out that they have plagiarized MY work. Please provide the links for my artworks and additional descriptions, I want to see if the person is going to acknowledge that they have copied me. Becase I KNOW that this is not a coincidence; I'm the only hetalia fan who has ever written a text about Falklands' early existence.
Again, thank you for telling me.

I have published the post explaining and pointing out how horrid the plagiarism was.
There are links in the post to your art and bios as proof that she is your OC.

People who steal OCs (especially ones as polished and well done as your own) are disgusting.
As a final note, here is the link to the post I made about it. If there is anything you would like me changing about what I said about it then please tell me.

No problem, and thank you.
